Insurance Claim Replacement Cost $350K-$600K
Damaged 2.4 meter Vertex DMK antenna.
Primary Gear listed below.
Back compartment contains <to confirm> a twenty (20)
kilowatt (KW) generator and signal waveguides.Per Salvor Inspection:
“The truck runs great and has 159674 miles on it.
However I suspect drive shaft has been disconnected when it was towed which is
not unusual. Truck is a Ford F550 diesel. Did not note any leaks or any
concerns with engine except will need to be jumped and drive shaft addressed.
Also tires looked good.
The interior of the cab has a separated lower dash
panel where there are lights with the following ones light, door ajar, jacks
down and antenna ajar. These are on constantly light and will drain battery.
The box has damage to the top right corner with a tear in it. From inside the
control room did not notice any separation in corners or sides of wood framed
rack systems and believe it to be square. Both side doors open and close but
with a little difficultly. Also a tear in bottom entry step on right side of
control room stairs.
Found two keys in ashtray that went into box panel
entry doors with difficulty but would not open.
The dish has some damage on right side but up
down mechanism, etc. did not show any damage. Also some bulb lens covers were
found to be broken on side of box but an easy fix.”
